The EU Chamber of Commerce in Canada West (EUCCCW) has recently entered into a cooperation agreement with German-Canadian Centre for Innovation and Research (GCCIR) in Edmonton to form a business cooperation centre called Enterprise Canada Network (ECN), which has become a member and official representative of Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) in Canada.
The EEN helps businesses innovate and grow on an international scale. It is the world’s largest support network for SME’s with international ambitions. The Network is active in more than 60 countries worldwide bringing together 3,000 experts from more than 600 member organisations, including technology poles, innovation support organisations, universities and research institutes, regional development organisations, as well as chambers of commerce and industry.
The new Enterprise Canada Network will offer access to market intelligence, partnering opportunities, and innovation support for EU SMEs looking to do business in Canada, and vice versa for Canadian SMEs looking to expand in the European Union.
