The EU Chamber of Commerce in Canada West, together with the Delegation of the European Union to Canada, and DIGITAL, had organized last Friday a very interesting and insightful panel discussion on the EU AI Act and the EU AI Continent Action Plan.

What a great discussion between EU’s AI policymaker Lucila Sioli, and Vancouver’s AI industry leaders and stakeholders together with the EU members states Consuls General in Vancouver!
The panelists talked about the importance of regulating AI’s code of conduct and safety when implementing policy and regulating fast evolving AI landscape in the EU and Canada, discussing the global influence of Canadian AI industry leaders and how Canadian companies can take advantage of the privileged access to EU’s supercomputer network while advancing EU – Canada collaboration for Digital and AI Sovereignty.
